August ninth is going to be a special day at Harvestland Ministries. The church will be hosting its first From Dumps to Diplomas fundraising event. This is a charitable event with all proceeds going to Payatas Children’s Ministry. (PCM) is a ministry in the dumps of Metro Manila, Philippines that feeds, clothes and educates poor children who live in the city dump. More then a million people live in Payatas. They are considered to be the poorest people in all of Asia. The children have no possible way of escape except through education. The only way they can receive an education is through ministries such as PCM. Since 1991 thousands of children have received food, clothing and an education through this ministry. Harvestland Ministries Church became involved in 1999 and is committed to this great cause.
We need your help so that no child will be forgotten.
This will be a fun filled day for the whole family. It will feature great music from local Christian artists supplied by CAMP Ministries , a silent action, delicious food, face painting, for motorcyclist a charity ride, and for children fun and exciting games. We want this to be an annual event that you will put on your calendars every year. So come out have fun and help change the lives of the beautiful children of Payatas

The cost of living here is hard to get, cooking oil costs 80.pesos per liter, rice will go up to 80pesos per kilo in july as they said.Who will survive then.
A mother of 3 kids ages 2,9,10 told me that a kilo of NFA rice they tried to eat it in one day,a little in breakfast, a little in lunch, a little in dinner.The result of the NFA rice, children are becoming dull, it is hard for them to memorize now, the poison in NFa rice first damages the brain according to a reliable source, in my observation it is.My prayer is that God would help me to love more as the time is being shorten for me to love, care these little ones.
A father of 4 kids died the other day because of high blood, they eat the fat of beef which they put on lugaw, for 4 months of lugaw with fat of beef the father went home with the Lord.
a young woman 26 died also of asthma and heart attack same day with this father.
Children are getting hungry everytime now.
I needed an extra to buy milk and oatmeal for the kids for breakfast on Saturday morning before i teach them.70% of the children that came last Saturday did not have breakfast,there is no food in there house.Please pray for me too for wisdom and strength even my body almost give way,onetime i feel so tired that the only thing i say is God am I done with my purpose. I have this desire in my heart to reach out for the mothers that are falling in line to buy NFA rice, I need bags of candies and tracts and lead the youth to share the Gospel to these mothers, in Litex and in Commonwealth Market, Harvestime..i need to go out, not just in Group 2, not just to little kids.The burden is great that it burns my heart..
