I am who I am

Each of us as Christian believers
had someone who believed in them,
it was their faith that saved us
and brought us back to Him.

Our lives are full of potential
that can lead us many places,
we are only limited by our faith
no matter what the circumstances.

Faith is a confidence of the heart
and it’s the collateral of heaven,
it begins with knowing God is real
and grows as our belief is given.

The Lord says “I am who I am”
for He is everything we need,
as we walk forth in faith daily
relying on Him we’ll succeed.

Just Obey

The times we are in are troubled
and our faith can be badly shaken,
because of our circumstances,
our trust in God can be taken.

We live in a time full of doubters
who only believe what they see,
but God says those who don’t
need sight will blessed be.

For if we only trust in ourselves
we live filled with doubt and fear,
but if we have faith in God
He will make our pathway clear.

The devil will try to confuse us
and divert us from this path,
His word will fill us with fire
that burns doubt away like chaff.

If we run alongside the Lord
and then trusting Him we obey,
we will find the faith we need
to face whatever comes each day.
